A new BBC Essential mix from the duo is set for release on Friday February 7.

Kevin Saunderson has revealed a new e-Dancer album.

Written and recorded with his son, Dantiez, it’s the Detroit techno veteran’s “first original” e-Dancer since debuting the alias with 1998’s Heavenly. Saunderson and his son previously collaborated when Saunderson’s group Inner City returned in 2019 after a nearly 30-year hiatus, performing a series of shows and releasing a new album, We All Move Together.

Saunderson and Dantiez first revived the e-Dancer alias back in October 2024 with the single “Melodica”—another new song “Emotions,” is out today. The duo will also premiere a new BBC Essential mix this Friday, February 7th.

The full album is due out May 21st, just ahead of the annual Movement festival Saunderson is a co-founder of.

“When people hear the album, I hope they hear the connection between a father and son on the same path of creating music,” Saunderson shared in a statement.
