The legendary house music vocalist said that the cost of treatments are mounting.

Peven Everett is raising money to cover the cost of his lung cancer treatment.

 

The Chicago house music legend launched a GoFundMe with the help of friend George Shaban on July 29th, aiming to raise $100,000. “The cost of treatments are mounting,” the page read. “Let’s give Peven some well-deserved, life-saving flowers. He’s in the process of treating, healing and creating. Any donation is appreciated.”

 

A singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Harvey, Illinois, Everett has lent his vocals to a slew of iconic house tracks, including “Gabriel,” “Feelin You In And Out” and “Put Your Back Into It.” He performed shows in Los Angeles and Chicago as recently as March, and toured Europe late last year.
