Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has announced that Max Cooper will be presenting a ‘deep immersion masterclass and audiovisual show’ as part of this year’s ADE Pro Conference programme.

In addition, ADE has also confirmed an edition of the Secret Artists in Residence concept, which will take place at ADE Pro venue Felix Meritis in Amsterdam.

The Secret Artists in Residence event will take place at a temporary music studio built at Felix Meritis, and will see collaborations and live jam sessions from a roster including Steve Rachmad, Alberta Balsam, Mathew Jonson, Sarah Neutkens and others.

The ADE Pro Conference takes place as part of the ADE programme between 18 and 22 October.

The first discussion topics and themes for this year’s ADE Pro Conference have been confirmed, including subjects such as organising large scale events in an increasingly uncertain market; mastering machine learning as a music professional; getting your music used in movies and series on video streaming platforms, and more.

Among those confirmed to appear during the event are events collective HE.SHE.THEY. and William Morris Endeavor Agency (WME) who will deliver a joint presentation on promoting inclusivity in electronic music. Elsewhere, Warner Music’s head of marketing for emerging markets Selina Chowdhury joins the event to discuss the group’s new emerging markets dance label and more.

Last year’s edition of Amsterdam Dance Event featured more than 2,500 artists and 600 speakers in almost 200 venues, attracting visitors from 146 countries. More information can be found here.
